Apple adds 3 Samsung devices to its existing patent infringement lawsuit against the Galaxy Nexus. .

Flush with pride and glory from their recent courtroom victory which you might have heard of, Apple today added the flagship Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 to their existing second US lawsuit against Samsung asserting infringement of 8 utility patents covering slide-to-unlock, universal search, data detection and word completion, among others. This brings the number of Samsung devices that Apple asserts infringes their patents up to a whopping 22 devices. All this is not likely to have any short-term impact on the consumer, especially if you are outside of the US, but this is a clear sign that Apple is certainly not decreasing its legal team’s budget any time soon.
All of us here at UnleashthePhones are just as tired of discussing and writing about these patent lawsuits as you are reading about them, so we can only hope that some sort of settlement can be worked out at some point in the future.
