The ZOTAC GeForce 650 GTX
The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 and GeForce GTX 650 series introduce new features to the product-class with new NVIDIA Surround technology that enables triple-display gaming capabilities and NVENC encoding instructions that quickly accelerate video processing tasks. Combined, the new NVIDIA Surround and NVENC features enable gamers to experience great immersion. At the same time, gamers can use the graphics cards to speed up video transcoding tasks to convert videos for use on portable media devices, when not gaming.
“NVIDIA NVENC video-transcoding capabilities is an awesome technology in our ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 and GeForce GTX 650 series. In the age of mobile media playback devices such as smartphones and hand-held game consoles, being able to leverage the power of graphics processing to convert video formats for portable consumption, we’re able to deliver much faster performance than typical CPU transcoding,” Berger added.
