Milagrow launches Windows 7-based tablet Kupa X11 .......

Milagrow has launched a Windows 7-based tablet in association with Germany-based Windows tablet manufacturer KUPA. The Milagrow Kupa X11 is a 10-inch tablet that runs Windows 7 and allows stylus and touch-sensitive controls. It also has SSD storage, a built-in SIM card slot and allows you to make calls.

Although it’s quite expensive, the X11 has the specs to run almost anything you choose to throw at it. Moreover, since it is an x86-based tablet, it has the complete world of Windows applications at its disposal. Equipped with a multi-touch WxGA HD display at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the Kupa X11 boasts of an electromagnetic digitizer, a digital ink pen and a biometric sensor for fingerprint scanning. It is powered by an Intel Cedar Trail N2600 duo core SoC 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB SSD storage.

The X11 has a built in SIM card slot and a 4800mAh battery that can keep the tablet going for up to 10 hours. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, a 3G SIM slot, voice calling, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports, support for USB OTG and LAN, and a mini HDMI port. It also has a dual antenna design for Wi-Fi and 3G for maximum signal strength. You get a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel rear camera. It runs Windows 7 Professional out of the box.

However, it seems the X11 could be quite unwieldy for a tablet, as it is almost 15mm thick - almost as thick as some of the Ultrabooks available on the market. It’s not much lighter than an Ultrabook either, weighing 950gm.

Here is a quick look at the highlighted features of the Milagrow Kupa X11:
  • 10.1-inch LED backlit, capacitive WXGA touchscreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n

  • Bluetooth 2.0, USB OTG,
  • 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel rear camera

When we decided to enter into the Windows Tablet segment they were ideal partners".

The Kupa X11 is available in black and grey colours at Rs 54,990 for the 64 GB version and Rs 66,990 for the 128GB one.
