Earlier this week, a rumor broke out on the blogosphere that HTC might be dropping their Beats Audio enhancement from future devices. We didnt cover this because it was proven to be completely false the same day, but HTC have come out with a comment to set things clear.
According to HTC, they “remain strongly committed to Beats Audio and including their innovation in our devices. Any rumor of HTC no longer integrating Beats Audio into our devices is categorically false.” HTC first bundled their devices with Beats headphones last year, which were dropped from the retail package this year, so the rumor that the Beats Audio Equalizer going was plausible enough that the rumor really took off. *Shrug*
Thankfully for now, it doesnt look like that’s going anywhere.
