Earlier today, popular digital note-taking app/service Evernote announced a new partnership with sketchbook maker Moleskine, to produce the “Evernote Smart Notebook.“
The Smart notebook is specially designed for Evernote on iOS (and soon Android) and will allow notebook users to capture written notes or drawings right from the paper and archive them in the service, so that you can search for them or organize your offline notes online. Wowza.
The pages are lined with a dotted pattern that is optimized for the app, and with the page camera feature of the latest Evernote iOS app, you can automatically capture photos of pages which are given a contrast adjustment. There’s also a set of ‘Smart Stickers‘ in ever smart notebook that you can use to tag your notes so that the evernote app can automatically read the tags and organize your notes for you.
These new digital Moleskines will be available in both pocket (3.5 x 5.5 inches / 8.89 x 13.97 cm) and large (5 x 8.25 inches / 12.7 x 20.96 cm) sizes, for a price of $25 and $30 respectively. Available October 1st. More details over at the Evernote links below.
